Singer Todrick Hall Sides With Pal Taylor Swift Over Former Manager Scooter Braun: 'He Is an Evil Person'

Todrick Hall is friends with Taylor Swift and was managed by Scooter Braun for a period of time, so you'd think he'd be caught in the middle of their beef. Instead, he is clearly on Team Swift and did not hold back in trashing his former manager.

Hall rose to fame as a semi-finalist on "American Idol" and has continued to work on Broadway and as the resident choreographer on "RuPaul's Drag Race."

Once the Swift/Braun feud became a thing, Hall was quick to not only take Swift's side but got all-in against Braun.

"For those asking, I left Scooter Braun a long time ago," he tweeted. "I am saddened by this news, but not shocked. He is an evil person who’s [sic] only concern is his wealth and feeding his disgusting ego. I believe he is homophobic & I know from his own mouth that he is not a Swift fan."

He then added, "I truly hope justice is served and that my friend’s music will fall into the hands of a better human."

Hall — who appeared in the videos (see above) for Swift's "You Need To Calm Down" and "Look What You Made Me Do" — also had a few words for Braun's wife, who posted a scathing Instagram note directed at Swift, as well as Justin Bieber's wife, Hailey.

"Also," he wrote, "men sending women in (their wives) to carry out their patriarchal bullshit is the worst form of feminist and human betrayal of all time - looking at you Yael and Hailey."

Hall kept on tweeting and got back around to Braun, writing, "I would normally not say anything because I’m sure scooter will threaten me like he has before to keep me quiet, but guess what Scooter, nothing you can do to me would be worst than the 6 years of my life I can’t get back from when & I was ignored as your 'artist.'"

On the other side of the spectrum, Demi Lovato voiced her support for Braun in the feud with Swift.

"I have dealt with bad people in this industry and Scooter is not one of them," Lovato wrote on her Instagram page. "He's a good man."

"Personally," she continued, "I'm grateful he came into my life when he did. Please stop 'dragging' people or bullying them. There's enough hate in this world as it is."

Selena Gomez's mother, Mandy Teefy, also stood behind Taylor, writing on Instagram, "I wish I could give you a big hug right now! Thank you for speaking out about this and teaching future young artist about protecting themselves."
