Singer Miguel’s Wife Nazanin Mandi Files For Divorce After Almost 4 Years of Marriage

Nazanin Mandi is ending her marriage with singer Miguel after almost four years of marriage! The couple was plagued with marital woes late last year but managed to overcome them, cementing their love. However, it seems they are back at it again.

Calls For Dissolution Of Marriage To Miguel

In the petition exclusively obtained by The Blast, Nazanin states irreconcilable differences as her reason for the breakup, and their specific date of separation is to be determined.

Nazanin and Miguel have no children, so child support will not be an issue, and as for spousal support, Nazanin says she and Miguel have a premarital agreement that will determine that part of their divorce. Their prenup, which was executed on their wedding day, would also suffice for dealing with their separate properties as well as community and quasi-community assets.

Mandi first met Miguel on the set of his first music video, "Getcha Hands Up," and they soon hit it off. The lovebirds walked down the aisle on November 24, 2018, after 10 years of dating. The model was never one to shy away from telling their love story, recalling how Miguel won her over with a cheezy pickup line.

She asked the "Sky Walker" singer if he had a girlfriend, to which he responded, "No, but I’m looking for one." The estranged lovebirds were going strong but hit an obstacle in their path in September 2021 when they announced they had decided to separate.

The Former Couple Got Separated A Year Ago

Mandi and Miguel confirmed the sad news via a statement released by their reps that read, "After 17 years together, Miguel and Nazanin Mandi have decided to separate and have been for some time now. The couple both wish each other well."

Further details about their separation weren't revealed. However, three months after their announced separation, the duo sparked reconciliation rumors when they were spotted going on vacation. As The Blast reported then, in January, the couple of more than a decade had a romantic getaway at an undisclosed snowy location.

The pair enjoyed a ride on a snowy trail and donned matching winter coats, with "The Last Conception" actress seen wearing her giant diamond wedding ring.  Weeks after the vacation, the renowned singer took to Instagram to share steamy black-and-white images of him and his woman.

"Love heals. Proud of us ❤️‍🔥 -Pimentel," Miguel gushed in the caption. The "Adorn You" singer eventually confirmed in March at the Smokin Grooves Festival that they were back together for good when they couldn't keep their hands off each other.

When asked by an interviewer, "Is Miguel still with his wife or not?" the "Sure Thing" singer said "yes," while declaring, "we are happy. We are happy!" While many believed the couple had put aside their squabbles, it is worthy to note that the last time they featured on each other's Instagram pages was back in May.
