Clifton's Hailey Mia is back in prime time!

Mia, at the age of just 14, made it to the final of NBC's "The Voice" in December 2021 before finishing in fourth place. Now 16, she has her sights set on ABC's "American Idol."

The Passaic County Technical Institute junior will be appearing on Sunday's episode of the show, which airs at 8 p.m. They will be showing Mia's audition, along with other prospective contestants.

Mia could not say much about her performance, which was filmed at Katy Perry’s old music school in Santa Barbara, Calif. However, she knows where she will be Sunday night. "My parents are having a watch party for me," she told NorthJersey.com.

On social media recently she posted: ""Excited! My audition for @AmericanIdol airs this Sunday. Tune in on ABC to see what happens!"

This season of "American Idol" premiered on Jan. 29. The judges are Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie with Ryan Seacrest as the host. The voting rounds of "American Idol" do not begin until April 7.

Will Mia be able to wow the judges like she did on "The Voice?"

On that show she was coached by first season "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson, after Clarkson stole her Arianna Grande.

"She’s so young. She already knows her voice so well," said Clarkson at the time. She also posted on social media: "I’m so proud of you @iamhaileymia!! Thank you for being an amazing singer and all around good human!!"

Following her amazing run on the snow, "Hailey returned to daily life in her quiet hometown of Clifton, NJ, equipped with the lessons and relationships she acquired while on the show," her website says.

Haileymia.com has merchandise for the "Hailos" out there and also her debut single, "Daydreams" - which the site says celebrates "her Jersey roots."

Mia is not the first person from Passaic County to pull off the "The Voice" and "American Idol" doubleheader. Paterson's Wé Ani was on "The Voice" in 2016 (as Wé McDonald) and then "American Idol" in 2023.
