‘Sing-Off’ and ‘X Factor’ stars VoicePlay and Rachel Potter premiere a cappella ‘Moana’ medley

Today marks a great coming-together of pop-cultural forces, as The Sing-Off sensations VoicePlay and X Factor contestant/Broadway actress Rachel Potter premiere their new a cappella Moana medley, via Yahoo Music’s Reality Rocks.

“The music is just truly inspirational, and we individually felt connections to the characters. We also all share the dream of providing music and voicing for an animated film and knew that Rachel would have a great take on Moana. The fact that our kids and families love the music is really just a huge plus,” VoicePlay’s Eli Jacobson tells Yahoo.

Orlando’s VoicePlay competed on the fourth season of The Sing-Off; they now tour all over the world with their a cappella revue, and have amassed more than 160,000 subscribers and 2 million views on their YouTube channel. Potter was a top 10 finalist on The X Factor USA; has starred on Broadway as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and the Mistress in Evita; and is currently pursuing a country music career in Nashville.
