'The Simpsons' Best Martin Prince Moments In Honor of Russi Taylor
The great voice actress Russi Taylor passed away at the age of 75-years-old, and although she was best known as the voice of Disney's Minnie Mouse, she provided countless voices to some of the best characters in animation.
Taylor died Friday at her home in Glendale. Disney CEO Bob Iger released a statement that read, "Minnie Mouse lost her voice with the passing of Russi Taylor."
He added, "For more than 30 years, Minnie and Russi worked together to entertain millions around the world—a partnership that made Minnie a global icon and Russi a Disney Legend beloved by fans everywhere."
Taylor also voiced Huey, Dewey and Louie in the original "Ducktales" series, as well as twins Sherri and Terri from "The Simpsons."
Her other beloved character was Martin Prince, Jr., the beloved nerd who appeared on countless episodes of "The Simpsons."
From classic episodes like "Bart Gets an F" and "Bart the Genius," Martin will always be remembered as the brilliant 4th grader who you kinda wanted to beat the crap out of.
When Martin finally became the cool kid
It was short lived, but for a moment Martin was the king of summer.

Martin so badly wanted to be BFFs with Nelson, and he finally got his chance when they teamed up to get the lemon tree back from Shelbyville.

Principal Skinner was gone and Ned Flanders was in charge. Needless to say the school fell into chaos and all nerds were quickly rounded up.
Martin, as always, was optimistic about the situation.

Bart, Milhouse and Martin all combine their money to purchase the first issue of Radioactive Man, only to destroy it due to their selfishness.

No matter what, Martin gave everything 110% ... regardless of the price he paid.
"The Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean wrote on Twitter that he was "deeply saddened" over the death of Russi Taylor.
It's currently unclear what the future holds for her characters in Springfield.
