Simone Biles Shares Update on Texas Home Construction — Featuring Her Husband Jonathan Owens!

The Olympic gold medalist has been sharing the home’s progress on Instagram since September

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are watching their dream home come to life!

On Monday, the Olympic gold medalist, 26, shared another inside look at her new Texas home that she’s building with her NFL player husband. In a photo posted to her Instagram Story, Owens, 28, looks up at an empty room with drywall and unfinished floors. A door and window frame can also be seen in the background.

The Green Bay Packers safety reposted the snap on his own Instagram Story along with the caption, “Seeing the vision!!”

Biles, who tied the knot with Owens in April, has been sharing updates on their home’s progress since September when she first teased the renovation with a photo of the property alongside the caption, "Loading… 🏠🤍🛠."

Earlier in November, the Courage to Soar author shared a carousel of photos (below) that brought her followers on a mini tour of the space. In the first slide, she’s seen smiling in a spacious room with wooden beams as she holds up what appears to be the keys to her new abode.

She also shared, “we have drywall,” along with a crying emoji over a snap of some of the walls on her Instagram Story.

In the last two images of the post, large glass sliding doors reveal a direct view of a body of water. Biles captioned the Instagram post, “eeeeeeeppppp 🛠️🏠😌.”

Biles previously shared a glimpse of her home’s stunning waterfront location in October when she took to her Instagram Story again to share a few construction updates. She referred to the view as her “favorite” in a caption written over a shot of the sliding doors during sunset.

She also shared that “tiles are in” over a snap of the unfinished exterior that was still covered in plaster and surrounded by leveled dirt.

Continuing the tour, the newlywed added, “Can’t decide if this is the hallway of my dreams or the ones that are in my nightmares lmao,” beside a photo that showed a door frame and high ceilings starting to take shape.

Biles and Owens — who got engaged in Feb. 2022 after meeting on the Raya dating app in March 2020 — exchanged vows in a courthouse wedding in April this year, just one month before tying the knot again in an elaborate destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
