"Silicon Valley" actor Thomas Middleditch is being accused of sexual misconduct, stemming from an incident at a now-defunct Los Angeles night club.

The allegations against him were detailed in a Los Angeles Times report published Sunday, where a woman named Hannah Harding revealed that she and her female friend were "groped" by the actor at the Hollywood nightclub Cloak & Dagger in October 2019. According to the report, Harding said Middleditch "made lewd sexual overtures towards her and her girlfriend" and "kept pursuing" Harding, who was 21 at the time, despite rejections to his advances.

Harding said the incident occurred in front of her friends and several employees, including the club's operations manager, Kate Morgan, who alleged that she told her bosses, Adam Bravin and Michael Patterson, to "kick Middleditch out and ban him." However, Morgan told the Los Angeles Times that she felt "they dismissed it."

“I told Adam that he needed to listen, that this was not OK," she said.

USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Middleditch, who declined to comment to the Los Angeles Times, and to Bravin and Patterson.

Harding also claimed that Middleditch apologized for his actions in an Instagram direct message, which she showed the Los Angeles Times. In this message, he allegedly wrote: "Hannah I had no idea my actions were that weird for you ... I know you probably want to put me on blast as a monster ... I don't expect you to want to be my friend or anything ... I am so ashamed I made you uncomfortable."

After her complaint, Harding also recalled witnessing Middleditch groping other women. But when Bravin contacted Harding and questioned her allegations, she concluded that the club owners "cared more about famous people at their club than women's safety."

The report also revealed that 10 women, including four former employees, previously alleged that Cloak & Dagger co-founders Bravin and Patterson repeatedly ignored sexual misconduct complaints before closing last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Morgan, who worked at the club for three years, said Patterson "wanted to have a 'real cult,' " and that she and other staffers "felt complicit but realized we'd been duped."

In an email to the Times, Patterson wrote in a statement that he did not recall making those comments.

“My goal for Cloak & Dagger was to create an atmosphere that would inspire people to be their best and most creative self," he wrote.
