All the Signs That Lady Gaga is Moving on With Audio Engineer Dan Horton

It looks as though Lady Gaga may be moving on from ex-fiancé Christian Carino — and no, it’s not with Bradley Cooper. The Lady Gaga and Dan Horton dating rumors were fueled by his ex-wife’s Instagram on Tuesday, in which she seemed to throw a barb at Gaga herself. While any such romantic involvement has yet to be confirmed, a few clues certainly point toward Gaga and Horton being a new pair.

In fact, exhibit A is pretty undeniable. As reported by People, Gaga was photographed at brunch with Horton on Sunday, and they weren’t exactly hiding their affection for one another. Multiple onlookers at and around Grandville restaurant in L.A. told People the two looked like more than friends. Photographers even managed to capture the potential couple locking lips at their table.

A fellow diner described the pair as being low-key and content: “They were kissing as they spoke really close up,” the source claimed. “Ironically, she had a table in the front near the sidewalk, so she was clearly okay with being seen. She seemed happy when interacting with the guy she was with.” Reps for Lady Gaga have not yet responded to SheKnows’ request for comment.

As if that on-camera exchange wasn’t compelling enough evidence, there’s more. After news of Gaga and Horton’s brunch date broke, Horton’s ex-wife Autumn Guzzardi seemed to throw shade at Gaga. The Broadway and TV actress posted a new headshot to Instagram, simply captioning it: “Poker Face.” And, well, it’s easy to infer why fans are convinced Guzzardi was taking a jab at Gaga. It is, after all, the name of Gaga’s iconic 2008 hit.

Per People, Horton and Guzzardi — who is currently starring in the off-Broadway musical Rock of Ages — got married in 2013 and split in February 2018, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Horton, who owns Audio Engineering Consulting Group, has worked as a monitor engineer for Gaga since November 2018. Whether the two knew each other prior to working together is unclear.

Finally, the fact that Horton made his own Instagram private only adds to fans’ interest in the pair’s romantic status. Fans wonder if he’s trying to hide any photos or Stories that might confirm a relationship. And funnily enough, this isn’t the first time Horton’s name has come up romantically connected to Gaga’s — in April, one Gaga fan account shared a since-deleted Instagram Story that seemed to hint at Gaga and Horton’s closeness. If the news is true, we couldn’t be happier for Gaga and her beau. Let’s just hope Guzzardi was cracking an innocent joke, and isn’t genuinely upset by this development.
