The Siesta Key star wed Kristi Ford on Feb. 10 in Florida surrounded by 120 guests including Amanda Miller and JJ Mizell — two of Kelderman's castmates from the MTV reality series — and YouTuber Charles Ross.

"The wedding was just perfect in every way. It felt so romantic," Kelderman tells PEOPLE.

He and Ford held their nuptials at Ever After Farms' Flower Barn in Seffner, allowing them to take advantage of the stunning natural scenery of the flower farm. "When looking for a venue, it was important it fit our style," Ford says. "We knew we wanted a barn-style wedding, so to find one that sat on a field of wildflowers was icing on the cake."

Befitting the rustic setting, the pair — who got engaged just before Valentine's Day last year — opted for an "unplugged ceremony," with no phones or cameras. "We really wanted our family and friends to be present for the ceremony and allow the best photographer and videographer in the world capture the moment," Ford notes.

They also chose to forgo a first look so that the moment when Ford made her way down the aisle to Kelderman would be that much more special. "Anticipating the moment when the barn doors would open for us to see each other at the ceremony made it so magical," Ford says.

Kelderman and Ford exchanged both traditional and handwritten vows in front of a special backdrop: a wooden cross that the pair, along with the groom's dad, built and stained together for the occasion. "It's something we'll cherish forever," Ford notes of the handmade piece, now a treasured wedding keepsake.

The ceremony was officiated by their pastor, Craig King of Bayside Community Church. Notes Kelderman, "It was very special how he incorporated the wedding party for support in our everlasting marriage."

The bride wore a fit-and-flare-style dress by Lillian West, featuring beaded floral appliqués, Chantilly lace, sheer side cutouts and an illusion V-back. "It was the perfect style for our romantic flower barn wedding," she says.

As for the ceremony music, the couple — who are devoted Swifties — chose a personalized piano instrumental by James Wong with an intro of "Pachelbel's Canon" that transitioned into Taylor Swift's "Lover" for Ford's walk down the aisle, which was decorated with floral arrangements created by Niesa Putigna of Farm Nine.

At the reception, guests enjoyed a Mission BBQ buffet dinner with brisket and pulled pork, along with baked beans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and cornbread. "We wanted good food that everyone would enjoy," Kelderman notes.

For dessert, bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes were served, in chocolate, vanilla, funfetti and strawberry flavors. The newlyweds cut a personal 6-inch, single-tier vanilla and rose-infused cake with smooth buttercream icing by CCSweets.

Kelderman and Ford performed their first dance to "Blessings" by Florida Georgia Line, which the reality star selected for his bride. "He listened to it often and said it always reminded him of me, and it easily became our favorite song," Ford explains. "We did a non-rehearsed first dance and enjoyed the moment."

Now that they are officially husband and wife, Kelderman and Ford are looking forward to their next chapter together. "We are excited to continue our adventures and start a family together," Ford shares.

And that's not all they're excited about. "We practiced celibacy since being engaged until marriage so it’s safe to say, consummating our marriage is what we looked forward to most," she adds.

After their wedding, they jetted off to Thailand, where they planned to do a little island hopping and visit Khao Sok National Park. "After a year of wedding planning, we're going to enjoy some rest and relaxation," says Ford.
