Sick New World is returning in 2024 to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on April 27th, and the one-day music extravaganza once again boasts a stacked lineup
System of a Down are reprising their role as festival headliners, and are joined this year by Slipknot. Other major acts include A Perfect Circle, Alice in Chains, Bring Me the Horizon, Danny Elfman, Primus, Lamb of God, Sleep Token, Knocked Loose, BABYMETAL, and more.
Ticket pre-sale codes will be available via an email/text-message list that you can sign up for via the Sick New World website, with the pre-sale launching Friday (October 13th) at 10 a.m. PT. Any remaining tickets following the pre-sale will go on sale to the general public later that day (Friday, October 13th) at 2. p.m. PT. Various ticket tiers will be available along with layaway payment options.
The festival lineup once again boasts a genre-spanning gathering of alternative metal, nu-metal, punk, metalcore, industrial, and more. Slowdive, Swans, Duster, Killing Joke, Static-X, Sevendust, Have a Nice Life, Code Orange, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Lords of Acid, and 3TEETH, among others, round out the eclectic bill.
The announcement of 2023’s inaugural Sick New World was a cause for widespread celebration among fans of nu-metal and industrial, in particular. It gave those genres a major festival platform, tapping into a growing nostalgia for the era.
And the promoters pulled all the stops for the initial lineup, which featured System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, Incubus, Evanescence, Mr. Bungle, Papa Roach, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, and more. Notably, modern bands who bore influences from those veteran acts — such as Turnstile, Death Grips, and 100 gecs — were also on the bill.
