My Sibling’s Romance Episode 9 Recap & Spoilers: Participants’ Ages Are Revealed
Episode 9 of My Sibling’s Romance aired on JTBC and Wavve on Friday, April 26, 2024. The previous episode ended with a message session, where some decided not to send a message to anyone. In the latest episode, viewers see Se Seung having a long conversation with Jung Sub about his feelings and interests.
The biggest highlight of My Sibling’s Romance episode 9 is that the participants reveal their ages in front of everyone. Some of the participants’ ages surprise everyone. The episode also sees the show informing the participants that they will go on a trip to Singapore.
My Sibling’s Romance Episode 9: Participants reveal their ages
Episode 9 of My Sibling’s Romance begins with the participants hanging out in the house. Jung Sub asks Se Seung if she wants to talk to him in the hideout, and they decide to have a long conversation there. While having the conversation, Se Seung straightforwardly confronts Jung Sub about his feelings. She asks him whether he has had a change of heart. Although Se Seung clearly communicates her feelings, Jung Sub does not give her clear answers, which confuses Se Seung a bit.
Later on, in the house, a letter arrives, and in the letter, the dating show asks the participants to disclose their ages in front of everyone. Some participants’ ages are as expected by the others; however, some participants’ ages surprise them. Ju Yeon turns out to be the youngest, while Se Seung and Jung Sub turn out to be of the same age. Meanwhile, Yun Ha reveals that she was born in 1989. Yun Ha is 5 years older than Yun Jae, who has never dated an older woman. Thus, it makes Yun Jae a bit nervous.
Thereafter, in My Sibling’s Romance episode 9, another letter arrives. This time, the show informs the participants that they will be going on a trip to Singapore. The news makes everyone quite happy and excited. The letter further informs the participants that every sibling pair has to participate in a duet singing competition. They must select a song to sing with their respective siblings to win the competition. The winners will get to choose their dates for the Singapore trip.
Thus, soon, all the pairs of siblings start planning their duet performances. Everyone has great expectations from Jae Hyung, as he gave a great performance in karaoke earlier. Jae Hyung and his sister, Se Seung, decide to sing a song from Twenty-Five Twenty-One. In the meantime, Yong Woo and Ju Yeon decide to sing and perform “Hype Boy” by NewJeans. All siblings’ pairs seem to have decided on the song they will perform in the competition, except for Yun Jae and Ji Won. Yun Jae has to go out to take care of his car, which has a flat tire. Thus, he and his sister, Ji Won, do not get much time to practice.
At the end of episode 9 of My Sibling’s Romance, the audience sees all the siblings practicing hard for the competition. They are also discussing their feelings in between the practices. In the upcoming episode 10, viewers can expect to see the siblings’ pairs competing against each other in the duet singing competition.
