Sia Moonlights as Tig Notaro’s Babysitter

Comedian and new parent Tig Notaro came on Conan to promote her new Amazon TV show, One Mississippi, and brought her new twin boys, Max and Finn.

The babies were dressed as normal infants, with the exception of black-and-white wigs covering their faces. Notaro explained, “You have to put them in wigs to protect their anonymity,” claiming that her babysitter gave her the idea after the babies were already photographed on TV in the past. However, during her interview with Conan, Notaro got a FaceTime call from the babysitter, who turned out to be singer-songwriter Sia. True to form, Sia called in with a photo filter covering her face with her trademark wig.

Notaro said, “She’s never met the children. She only FaceTimes with them,” as Sia serenaded the baby boys to sleep with a beautiful rendition of “Rock-a-Bye Baby.”

The entire first season of Tig Notaro’s One Mississippi will be available on Sept. 9 on Amazon.

Conan airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on TBS.
