After nearly a decade, Sia is back with a new studio album!

On Wednesday, the pop superstar, 48, announced that she’s set to release her long-awaited 10th studio album Reasonable Woman on May 3 via Atlantic Records. The project marks her first proper full-length record since 2016’s This Is Acting.

For the 15-track project, the Grammy-nominated artist has rounded up a roster of star-studded collaborators, including Chaka Khan, Jimmy Jolliff, Kaliii, Kylie Minogue, Labrinth, Paris Hilton and Tierra Whack.

Her new single with Minogue, 55, “Dance Alone,” arrived on Wednesday, along with the album announcement.

The sleek dance track finds the two stars wanting to let go on the dance floor where they feel empowered, free and far away from a relationship weighing them down.

“I just wanna dance alone, I ain't ever goin' home / I just wanna dance alone / I just wanna dance alone / I just wanna lose my phone / I just wanna dance alone,” the stars sing back and forth on the chorus over a sheeny, pulsating beat — the kind that’s sure to call fans to the dance floor themselves.

“Dance Alone” reunites the two Australian artists, as they previously teamed up on two songs from the “Can't Get You Out of My Head” singer’s 2014 album Kiss Me Once.

Before the single dropped, the “Chandelier” artist got fans excited when she started teasing the release in late January by sharing an adorable video on Instagram of her and Minogue together in the studio dancing to the then-unreleased track.

“The tension’s building 😉,” she wrote in the caption, referring to Minogue's 2023 album Tension.

Sia officially announced “Dance Alone” last week and gave Minogue a sweet shout-out on Instagram on Tuesday when she congratulated her for winning the Grammy for best pop dance recording for “Padam Padam” at Sunday’s awards ceremony.

“Our hearts are going padam, padam for @kylieminogue and her Grammy win 💓 can’t wait for everyone to hear Dance Alone on Wednesday!” she wrote in the caption of the two pop stars jumping in the air.

As Sia announced Reasonable Woman, she also shared the album artwork: a shot of the singer-songwriter sitting next to a young girl, both wearing pink bows in their hair, but with Sia in her signature oversized blonde wig that conceals much of her face. This time around, the “Cheap Thrills” singer’s wig is curled, nearly resembling a doll’s hair, and blends into her feathered ensemble in a similar blonde tone.

According to a press release, the forthcoming LP will also feature production, co-writing credits and engineering from A-listers like benny blanco, bülow, Greg Kurstin, Jesse Shatkin, Jim-E Stack, Mark “Spike” Stent, Rosalía and more.

While Sia has released new music in the eight years since This Is Acting, Reasonable Woman will be her first proper solo effort. In 2017, she shared the hit holiday album Everyday Is Christmas and, most recently, she sang and co-wrote Music – Songs from and Inspired by the Motion Picture, the soundtrack to her directorial debut Music.
