'SI' Model Samantha Hoopes Gets Her Baby Blessed By the Pope

'Sports Illustrated' Model Samantha Hoopes is Engaged to Italian Entrepreneur
Hoopes and her fiancé Salvatore Palella met with Pope Francis to have him bless their new baby, George William Palella.
The model was seen outside the Vatican on Wednesday dressed in black and wearing a vail and was ecstatic over her baby getting blessed by the Pope.
She took to social media afterward to share her excitement.
"Still speechless and in awe of this time in my life! My son was blessed by @franciscus today & it was an experience I cannot even put into words & its a moment in my life I will never ever forget!"
Her fiancé also shared the special moment and proclaimed how "honored" he was.
"Honored to have my family meet the Pope today at the Vatican 🇻🇦 @franciscus was very nice to meet and you and thank you for Blessing my son, we will remember this forever. Looking forward to see you very soon."
It's unclear if Pope Francis was familiar with Hoopes' work, as we're guessing he doesn't have a subscription to "Sports Illustrated," but he looked pleased to meet the star and her family.
28-Hoopes has been loving her time as a new mom and also recently opened up to fans about the special moments she experiences during breastfeeding.
"One of my favorite things to do is spend that one on one time with my baby during feeding time. Breastfeeding has been very natural and easy for me but I know it’s not something everyone has an easy time with."
