Canada Goose named Matt Blonder as its first chief digital officer. The luxury outwear brand also appointed Juliette Streichenberger as president of CGAG and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), while Ana Mihaljevic will serve as the head of global stores in addition to her current role of president, North America. Daniel Binder is now chief transformation officer and EVP, sales operations and planning. Patrick Bourke was named SVP, strategy and corporate development.

Founder and CEO of PrettyLittleThing, Umar Kamani, is stepping down from the Boohoo-owned brand. In an Instagram post, Kamani said he would continue supporting the 12-year-old company on projects over the next few months while it searches for a new CEO.

Spanx promoted vice president of growth marketing and e-commerce, Kelly Goldson, to chief digital officer, according to the executive’s LinkedIn account.

Academy Sports + Outdoors
Sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer Academy Sports + Outdoors announced executive leadership changes effective as of June 1.
Ken C. Hicks, chairman, president and CEO, will transition to executive chairman of the board of directors. Steven P. Lawrence, EVP and CMO, will become CEO and a member of the board of directors, serving as CMO until a successor is appointed. Michael P. Mullican, EVP and CFO, will become president and continue to serve as CFO until a successor is appointed. Samuel J. Johnson, EVP, retail operations, will assume additional responsibilities for the real estate, construction and store design functions.

Office of the United States Trade Representative
The office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced that Sushan Demirjian will serve as the assistant United States trade representative for small business, market access and industrial competitiveness.
Since joining USTR in 2007, Demirjian has served in several senior roles, most recently as the acting assistant United States trade representative for the same office. Demirjian will be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing U.S. trade policy related to a broad range of U.S. manufacturing and industrial sectors, such as information and communications technology, autos, capital goods, machinery and equipment, chemicals, energy, steel and other metals, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, forest products and consumer products. She also oversees USTR’s efforts to expand trade opportunities for U.S. small and medium-sized businesses.
