Showtime Moves Into New West Hollywood Headquarters
Showtime has officially moved from its longtime home in Westwood to its new 50,000-square foot West Coast headquarters at The Lot Studios in West Hollywood.
The three story space at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and North Formosa Avenue has views of the Hollywood Hills and is outfitted with interactive meeting areas and central social hub cafe. The office also features new workspaces for employees with leading-edge entertainment technology and a state-of-the-art screening room.
“It was important for us to build a space that inspires employees to do their best work and encourages collaboration. With the help of CannonDesign we were able to create that atmosphere at The Lot,” said Jana Winograde, President of Business Operations, West Coast, Showtime Networks Inc. “The move to our new and improved location is a welcome change for Showtime providing an environment conducive to interaction and innovation.”
Showtime’s move comes a month after CBS Corp. said it had reached a $750 million deal to sell its CBS Television City property on Fairfax to developer Hackman Capital Partners. CBS still owns the 40-acre CBS Studios Center in Studio City, Calif, which will remain the company’s primary production facility. That campus is home to the broadcast network, CBS Television Studios and CBS Television Stations KCBS and KCAL.
