The shortest Injury Wrap we'll ever see

The Week 1 injury report looks reasonably tame. We may never have it this good again.

• Le’Veon Bell (holdout) isn’t expected to play the opener at Cleveland, setting up James Conner as the featured back. Tight end Vance McDonald (foot) is confirmed out, which puts Jesse James back on the radar in deep leagues. Keep an eye on the Cleveland forecast — it’s likely the Steelers and Browns will play in adverse conditions, and a delay to Monday is also possible.

• Although Josh Gordon (hamstring) is off the injury report, Hue Jackson plans on giving him limited snaps against Pittsburgh. Gordon is not an automatic Week 1 fantasy starter.

• Will Fuller (hamstring) was inactive most of the summer and is questionable for the opener at New England. Too risky to use.

• Rishard Matthews (knee) and Delanie Walker (toe) missed some summer work, but neither is listed on the injury report. Deploy as usual at Miami.

• Marshawn Lynch (groin) has been limited in practice, so double check before the late-night Monday opener against the Rams. Perhaps the Raiders are simply trying to be proactive with Lynch’s body, given the stage of his career.

• Marlon Mack (hamstring) looks like a game-time decision against Cincinnati. Jordan Wilkins is another starting option if Mack can’t go, or is limited.

• The Dolphins list Devante Parker (finger) as doubtful, so forget him for Week 1. Kenny Stills and Danny Amendola are reasonable options, even when Parker returns.

• Hayden Hurst (foot) won’t play Week 1 and is out indefinitely. The Ravens don’t have an impressive pass-catching tight end behind Hurst.

• Because bad things always have to happen to the Chargers, Joey Bosa (foot) will not play against Kansas City.

• Sony Michel (knee) is listed as questionable and had a limited week. He’s impossible to trust Week 1 against Houston.

• Although Devonta Freeman dinged his knee in Thursday’s loss at Philadelphia, he’s apparently fine. The big hit for the Falcons came on defense; safety Keanu Neal (knee) is out for the year.
