Shogun Director Joins The Loney Television Series
Jonathan van Tulleken has been tapped to head up a TV series adaptation of The Loney, according to Deadline.
Van Tulleken was a director on the hit FX series Shogun and will also direct and executive produce some of the first episodes of Amazon’s Blade Runner 2099 series. After that, he’ll get to work on the adaptation of the Michael Hurley novel of the same name, which New Regency Television International recently acquired the rights to.
The Loney was originally released in 2014, and tells the story of “two brothers on a journey through northwest England where they encounter unnerving secrets and become enmeshed in a series of terrifying events that shape their lives forever.”
No release information or any casting news has been set for The Loney just yet.
Van Tulleken is excited to join the project
