‘She’s Just An Evil, Evil Person,’ Says Woman Whose Ex-Friend Tried To Have Her Killed
Kellie Cooke says she had reservations about her children being around their then stepmom, Tara Lambert. She says that while she was initially friends with Lambert, she feared that the former model may harm them.
On July 28, 2015, Lambert was arrested in a murder-for-hire plot in which Cooke was the intended target. Lambert had attempted to hire a hitman to kill Cooke. In the police surveillance video, Lambert can be heard telling the undercover police detective she needs Cooke, “away, gone.”
“Just put her in a chopper, like, one of those lumberjack chopper things,” Lambert says.
In the video above, Cooke responds to the undercover video.
“She’s just an evil, evil person,” she tells Dr. Phil on Tuesday’s episode. “I didn’t trust her around me, around my kids alone. Every time she drove away with them, I thought she was just going to drive them off a bridge to get back at me.”
