Many subscribers have found Shazam! on Disney Plus and are wondering how DC movies are available on the platform. How many DC Extended Universe movies has Disney Plus added? Here’s all you need to know.

Why are Wonder Woman, Shazam!, and Fury of the Gods streaming on Disney Plus?

Wonder Woman, Shazam!, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods are streaming on Hulu, and its content is available through a tab on Disney+ via Disney’s new bundled subscription.

Disney+ has now integrated the full Hulu library as a separate tab along with Marvel, Star Wars, and other content that Disney owns. Instead of paying for Hulu and Disney+ separately, you could simply enjoy the content of both streaming services on Disney+ through subscription bundles starting from $9.99.

The trailer for the ‘Hulu on Disney+’ announcement recently revealed everything that will be available to stream on Disney+ in April. It also revealed 3 DCEU movies that were recently acquired by Hulu temporarily: Wonder Woman, Shazam! and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. So, Disney+ isn’t just a house for Marvel movies anymore, as certain DC movies are also streaming on it now.

Are other DC Extended Universe movies streaming on Disney Plus?

Besides the aforementioned 3 movies, no other DC Extended Universe films are currently streaming on Disney Plus.

In the past, Hulu temporarily added multiple DC movies such as Birds of Prey. However, that was removed after a while. As of now, only 3 out of the 15 DCEU movies are currently available to stream on Hulu-Disney+.

Whether more of them will come to Disney+ is hard to predict for now. However, since 3 are already there and MAX has started to lease its content to other streaming services (Hulu and Netflix), more DC movies could potentially stream on Disney Plus in the future.
