Shay Mitchell’s Dramatic Hair Transformation Has Fans Saying She Looks Identical to Fellow A-Lister

New year, new me, and new hairdos: that’s always the name of the game with the beginning of a new year. In the first month of any new year, everyone is shaking things up, whether it be their lifestyle or their looks. Get ready to see all the celebrity hair transformations this year, and none other than confidence queen Shay Mitchell, is kicking off the dramatic hairdo changes in 2024.
On Jan 2, the Pretty Little Liars alum shared a series of photos, showing off her shockingly chic new hairdo. She shared the photos with the caption reading, “new year new hair.”

In the photos, we see Mitchell looking unbelievably chic as she rocks oversized jeans, a black jacket, statement jewelry, and, of yeah, her black pixie cut.
That’s right, Mitchell’s long black hair, and later long red hair, has all been chopped off into a layered pixie cut that has fans doing a double take. But there are two reasons for the double take: one, she looks stunning, and that she looks nearly identical to Kris Jenner.
Many fans commented on the similarities, saying, “I thought this was Kylie dressing as Kris 😂,” “It’s giving Kris Jenner,” and “Raise your hand if you did a double take and thought this was Kris Jenner for a hot minute.”
Shay, you’re doing great, sweetie (no, seriously, we’re obsessed with the new look)!
In a previous interview with People, she talked about the key to her iconic confidence. She said, “I think as I got older I sort of look back and if I could tell myself, my younger self, or anybody younger than me or older or whatever, I think it would be just really to embrace what you’re born with.”
She added, “I think celebrating your uniqueness is something that we sometimes forget to do. We always look at somebody else and we’re like, ‘Oh, I wish I had her dot dot dot.’ I think instead of looking inwards and trying to make yourself a better person and appreciating what you were born with.”
