Shawn Johnson East's Husband Andrew Honors Her with Sweet Video Montage on Mother's Day

The former Olympic gymnast is mom to daughter Drew, 4, and sons Jett, 2, and Barrett 'Bear,' 4 months

Shawn Johnson East has found the gold this Mother's Day!

On Sunday, May 12, the athlete's husband Andrew East, 32, and Family Made Media dedicated a joint video montage via Instagram to honor the former Olympic gymnast, 32, and her family — including her daughter Drew Hazel, 4, and sons Jett James, 2, Barrett "Bear" Madison, 4 months.

The video showed Johnson East’s greatest achievements. “This was impressive,” was written over a clip of the gymnast performing a series of flips on a beam.

Next was a video of her and East on a red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards. “This was attractive,” was the text that appeared over the couple sharing a kiss in front of the cameras.

Other clips in the collage showed her on Dancing with the Stars and on her wedding day — big moments that paled in comparison to what came next.

“But seeing you as a mom is unmatched, unrivaled, superlative, supreme,” was written over a video of her playing with Bear.

The praises went on, concluding with, “Thanks for showing up for all of us and perpetually caring so deeply.”

The mom of three recently shared more photos of the family as they celebrated Easter back in March.

For the holiday, the family all went to church and enjoyed quality time with loved ones. Johnson East joked that her youngest "slept through his first Easter service."

Her older two kids were seen having a great time during the festivities, joining in with their cousins for egg hunting and kickball.

Also in March, Johnson East opened up about how her family has dealt with transitioning to having three kids in the house.

"Three kids is a lot, but it is the greatest blessing ever. I mean, our little guy's amazing," Johnson East said. "Our kids are in love with him. They couldn't be better big siblings. It's just been trying to figure out how to do three logistically [that] has been interesting, but a fun challenge."

The athlete added how mealtimes can be challenging, as they go through a time of transition. She said, "I have very stereotypical children that like macaroni and cheese and sauces and stuff."

Despite any food-related challenges, Johnson East said her two oldest kids have been handling having a new baby brother like a pro.

"They're doing better than I could have ever expected," she said. "I understand that's a huge transition and they're getting less mommy time and daddy time. It is a big transition, but they are so protective and in love with their little brother, which is really, really special."

Additionally, the former 2008 Beijing competitor said that her family may not be done growing.

"I would love to adopt if we want to continue growing our family," Johnson East added. "I do feel like we are a family that would love to do that. I don't know if our family's done growing, but I am pretty sure I'm done having kids."
