Shawn Johnson East debuts baby bump on ESPYs red carpet alongside husband Andrew

Olympic gymnastics star Shawn Johnson East and her husband Andrew East are expecting baby No. 3 in style!

The Olympic gold medalist and her former NFL player husband announced they were expecting in an Instagram post Wednesday. The pair are already parents to Jett, 2, and Drew, who is 3.

Later that night, the couple appeared on the ESPY's red carpet together as Johnson East held her bump. The West Des Moines native chronicled the night on her Instagram stories in an aqua blue strapless dress.

Johnson East reunited with her best friend and 2008 Beijing Olympic teammate Nastia Liukin. The pair of BFFs also caught up with fellow gymnast Trinity Thomas, a former NCCA national all-around champion who lost a best collegiate athlete, women's sports ESPY award to Caitlin Clark.

Earlier Wednesday, the Iowa-born Olympic gold medalist announced her pregnancy on social media with the caption, "swipe for a surprise," paired with an emoji. She tagged @thebabyeast, an account with a sonogram image but no posts. The retired gymnast posed at the Panathenaic Stadium in Greece flanked by the Olympic rings.

Later on Wednesday evening, Johnson East posted stories posing alongside skier Mikaela Shiffrin, former NFL tight end Vernon Davis and legendary women's basketball player Sue Bird. The roundup of pictures also included a snapshot with former pro athlete and sports radio show host Pat McAfee and his wife Samantha.
