Shaun opens up about his night with Lea in The Good Doctor sneak peek
What does Shaun Murphy want? That’s the question the titular MD (played by Freddie Highmore) faces in this exclusive clip from The Good Doctor’s winter premiere after spending the night with Lea (Paige Spara).
The last time we checked in with the ABC medical drama, Shaun and Carly (Jasika Nicole) had to take a break from working through their intimacy problems because Shaun had to take a last-minute trip to see his dying father. Surprisingly, Shaun asked Lea to accompany him and Glassman (Richard Schiff) instead of Carly, and ended up cuddling with Lea in bed after an upsetting visit with his parents — a level of physical intimacy he was struggling to have with Carly.
“Lying in bed with her, it felt different than it does with Carly,” a confused Shaun says in the above sneak peek when he tells Glassman about what happened with Lea. And Glassman, who has always been concerned about Shaun and Lea’s platonic relationship, has some questions of his own.
The Good Doctor airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
