Stone was born into the family of an accountant mother, Dorothy Marie and a tool and die, manufacturer father, known as Joseph William Stone. At a young age, Stone's parents confirmed that she was a genius, and enrolled her into the second grade when she was only five years old. In 1975, she became a graduate of Saegertown High School and proceeded to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. At this point, she was already engaging in modeling activities and even won the title for Miss Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
During one of her pageantry, one of the judges advised Stone to leave school and take up fashion modeling as a full-time job. She did as the judge suggested, and put up with her aunt, living in New Jersey. After a while, Stone landed a deal with Ford Modeling Agency, and that was the beginning of great heights for her. After confirming that Stone is the real owner of the account, the app sent an apology to her, and asked for a verification.
