Sharon Osbourne is opening up about the moment she learned of her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s previous affair, and the devastating fallout.

Speaking on stage at her show, Sharon Osbourne: Cut the Crap, in London on Sunday, the TV personality, 71, revealed that she attempted suicide after learning of the 75-year-old's infidelity.

“He always, always had groupies and I was so used to that,” Sharon said, according to U.K. newspaper The Mirror. “But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work ... it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills.”

The reality star, who shares daughters Aimee, 40, and Kelly, 39, and son Jack, 38, with Ozzy, went on to explain that she felt her children would be able to “take care of themselves” since they were "older."

“So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom,” she said. “The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me.”

In August 2016, PEOPLE confirmed that the Black Sabbath frontman had entered rehab for sex addiction. The couple then reconciled the following month and renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas on Mother's Day in 2017.

“For me, this was actually our real wedding day. This is the one that I will remember. Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning,” Ozzy told Hello! Magazine about the intimate ceremony.

“I made a huge mistake,” he continued. “Without Sharon, I am nothing. I love her. I can honestly say that I have never loved anybody other than my wife.”

Months after renewing their vows, Sharon opened up about Ozzy's previous infidelities and his affair in an interview with U.K. newspaper The Telegraph,

“There wasn’t just one woman; there were six of them," she told the publication. “When I found out about the hairdresser, I couldn’t believe it. Because none of these women were show ponies; he was doing it to fill the void in some way.”

Ozzy also reflected on his past infidelities and shared his regrets about cheating in a 2020 interview with British GQ.

"I've done some pretty outrageous things in my life. I regret cheating on my wife. I don't do it anymore," he said. "I got my reality check and I'm lucky she didn’t leave me. I'm not proud of that. I was pissed off with myself. But I broke her heart."

Two years later, Sharon and Ozzy celebrated 40 years of marriage by having a "brilliant" staycation at the Beverly Hills Hotel. "We never gave up on each other," Sharon told PEOPLE at the time. "I mean, I wasn't a saint. Ozzy wasn't a saint. I gave him as good as he gave me. We're just meant to be."

Ozzy added, “You have rows, you fall out, you get back on the horse and carry on."
