When anyone goes through struggles, whether it’s a breakup or a health scare, we all rely on our friends and family for comfort and support. For Sharon Osbourne, who was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2002, she got help from a surprising A-lister: the late Robin Williams.

“When Sharon was sick with cancer, I felt bad about leaving her just in the house, so I asked Robin Williams if he’d come and see her,” Sharon’s longtime husband Ozzy Osbourne remembered in the latest episode of The Osbournes podcast, per People. “Sharon loved him.”

The former The Talk host agreed, and remembered their time together with much fondness. “I absolutely was so in awe of his talent and his kindness,” she said. “He came in and got into bed with me and told jokes for a couple of hours.” What a precious moment.

“It wasn’t just like he popped his head around the door [and said] ‘Hi, how are you doing?’ and left,” she said. “It was a good two hours with me, and he was amazing.” As a reminder, Williams died by suicide at age 63 in 2014.

His kind gesture, however, will forever be remembered by Sharon. “[He] made me feel so good,” she said, adding that the Good Will Hunting star was an “amazing man.”

Sharon, who is luckily now in remission from the cancer, also recently opened up about her drastic weight loss in an appearance at the U.K. talk show Loose Women. According to her, she used the weight loss drug Ozempic back in 2022, per Women’s Health.

“The injections that I was on worked, but it just seems that now I can’t put anything on really,” she admitted.

“Everything with weight with me was ‘I want it now,'” Sharon explained. “I’m just an ordinary person who got lucky and I didn’t take advantage of that,” she added. “I never want to forget I am blessed and been really lucky in my life.” May we all try to do the same!
