Sharna Burgess is just in a totally different place these days, but despite not being asked back to Dancing with the Stars for Season 32, she’s not closing any doors on a return just yet.

For now, Sharna’s happy at home with her and fiancé Brian Austin Green’s 14-month-old son Zane. She also co-hosts the Oldish podcast with Brian and his Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star, Randy Spelling.

“I think closure is a really interesting word,” she told E! News in an interview. “I don’t know if I will go back, I don’t know if I want to or if I’ll get asked to. We’ll have to see where life is next year.”

No wedding planning happening yet

“Right now, I am embracing and grateful for this change in direction,” she admitted, “I get so much time with the baby, and I honestly would not change a single thing about my life. I love every single thing about it.”

What’s not to love? The dancer and her fiancé, who was her partner on Season 30 of DWTS, are looking forward to a wedding. Though they’re not actually planning anything at the moment.

Brain only proposed in July, so they’re still getting used to the idea. “The engagement planning was enough,” he said. “So now, it’s like, we’re back into life a little bit, and then we’ll get to wedding planning.”

Who will be the bigger bridezilla?

“I’ve referred to it as my wedding a couple of times,” she explained, “so I feel like it’s going to be me.”

Although Brian disputed that title. “I can be very OCD with details sometimes,” he confessed. “We’ll fight it out for bridezilla.”

Even though she doesn’t know if she’ll ever return to DWTS, Sharna has fond memories of dancing with her then-boyfriend of one year. Brian, who felt the show “put pressure on us,” explained that he prioritized their relationship above all else. He made sure that, “at the end of the day, our relationship came first.”

“I think it solidified and showed us how much of an amazing team we are,” Sharna concluded. “That was really beautiful that we got to do that.”

Dancing with the Stars continues Tuesdays on ABC.
