“I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better,” Doherty said. “I’m just not — I’m not done.”

The 52-year-old Charmed actress has been candid about her medical journey since February 2020, when she announced that her breast cancer had returned at stage 4 after being in remission for years.

Earlier this year, Doherty shared on Instagram that a CT scan showed that her cancer was no longer only in her chest, but had spread to her brain.

While Doherty hopes to get into clinical trials as new cancer treatments and diagnoses are developed, she says she is grateful for each day and believes her “greatest memory is yet to come.”

“People just assume that it means you can’t walk, you can’t eat, you can’t work. They put you out to pasture at a very early age — ‘You’re done, you’re retired,’ and we’re not,” she added. “We’re vibrant, and we have such a different outlook on life. We are people who want to work and embrace life and keep moving forward.”

In her new podcast, Let’s Be Clear With Shannen Doherty, launching Dec. 6 on iHeartRadio, Doherty is planning to look back at her life so far, including career highlights, past relationships, her cancer battle and health regimens.
