Shannen Doherty is opening up about how she went into surgery to remove a brain tumor just after learning that her third husband, Kurt Iswarienko, had an extramarital affair.

On the premiere episode of her newly launched podcast, “Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty,” the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum shared the devastation she experienced during a critical time of her years-long battle with cancer.

“I went into that surgery early in the morning and I went in after I found out that my marriage was essentially over, that my husband had been carrying on an affair for two years,” she revealed. “To not go in that surgery, even though, being very clear, he wanted to go, I couldn’t go into that surgery with him there. I felt so betrayed.”

“At the end of the day, I just felt so incredibly unloved by someone I was with for 14 years, by someone that I loved with all my heart,” she continued, adding that her mom, brother and close friends were there to support her during the operation.

Doherty — who was first diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2015 before it spread to her brain — reportedly underwent the surgery in January, the same month she and Iswarienko separated.

In April, the 52-year-old actress announced her divorce from the photographer after 11 years of marriage. The couple cited “irreconcilable differences” in their filing.

Doherty was previously married to actor Ashley Hamilton from 1993-1994, and Paris Hilton’s sex tape partner Rick Salomon from 2002-2003. During the 48-minute podcast episode, she reflected on her failed marriages, yet remained optimistic.

“I am horrified that I can’t keep a relationship together,” she shared. “I think it is a reflection (of) me, but this one, I think this one is on him. I’ve failed three times at marriage, but I still believe in love.”

The “Charmed” alum is currently gracing the cover of the Dec. 11 issue of People magazine, where she revealed that her cancer — which, after a period of recovery, returned in 2020 as stage 4 metastatic breast cancer — has now spread to her bones.

A staunch cancer research advocate, Doherty shared with the outlet: “I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better. I’m just not — I’m not done.”
