The "Charmed" actress revealed in 2020 that her breast cancer had returned as stage 4.

Shannen Doherty won’t let cancer stop her from living life on her own terms.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star recently revealed that although her stage 4 breast cancer has spread to her bones, she is determined to fight the illness and keep moving forward.

"I’m not done with living," she told PEOPLE in a new interview. "I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better. I’m just not — I’m not done."

At present, Doherty hopes to be involved in clinical trials for developing treatments. In the meantime, she is launching a memoir-style podcast, Let’s Be Clear With Shannen Doherty, where she will delve into career highlights, past relationships, and the numerous phases of her ongoing illness. She hopes to not only raise funds but awareness on the subject, showing that those with stage 4 cancer still have plenty to contribute.

"People just assume that it means you can’t walk, you can’t eat, you can’t work," Doherty said of her diagnosis. "They put you out to pasture at a very early age —'You’re done, you’re retired,' and we’re not. We’re vibrant, and we have such a different outlook on life. We are people who want to work and embrace life and keep moving forward."

Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, and went into remission two years later following a single mastectomy and chemotherapy. But by 2019, the cancer returned. A year later, the Charmed actress opened up about her fight with metastatic stage 4 cancer.

Throughout the process, Doherty has been documenting her cancer battle on social media and keeping fans in the loop with updates on her health, and a peek behind the curtain of her treatment plan. In June, she shared multiple Instagram videos about her January surgery, explaining, “I had a tumor in my head they wanted to remove and also biopsy.”

She added, "I am clearly trying to be brave but I am petrified. The fear was overwhelming to me… This is what cancer can look like."

The actress has also been attending events, including the Beverly Hills, 90210 panel at '90s Con in September, where she first announced her intent to launch the podcast described as "a live interactive memoir." She promised to share "everything that I've refused to say before," adding, "I'm spilling the tea, but nicely!"

Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty, premieres Dec. 6 on iHeartRadio.
