Shannen Doherty Confirmed For ‘Heathers’ Remake On TV Land; First Photo
Shannen Doherty, who starred as Heather Duke in the original 1988 film Heathers, has signed on to TV Land’s reboot pilot. Doherty announced her involvement with the project by sharing an on-set photo today on Instagram.
Doherty will play a pivotal unnamed character in the pilot, which will be set in the present day, as heroine Veronica (Grace Victoria Fox) deals with a very different but equally vicious group of Heathers.
Currently in production in Los Angeles, the pitch-black comedy is written by Jason Micallef (Butter) and directed by Leslye Headland (Sleeping with Other People) with Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi executive producing for Lakeshore Entertainment.
