Shania Twain is a Swiftie!

The country icon, 58, had nothing but praise for Taylor Swift when asked how she felt about the singer wearing her face on a T-shirt during an outing in New York City at the beginning of October.

"It's really cool. I think that was sweet of her," she shared during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday. Twain added that she thinks Swift, 33, is a "doll" and a "great role model for girls."

"I'm totally in," Twain continued. "Like, I feel like I'm her aunt or something. We're in synch in a lot of ways, and I really have a lot of respect and compassion for her." The "Forever and for Always" star also took the opportunity to complement the "Shake It Off" singer's work ethic.

"The weight of any young artist in her position is enormous, and she gets through it seemingly so effortlessly, but we all know that it's not," she said.
