'Tis the season for McDonald's Shamrock Shakes. Yes, it's already about time for that annual tradition.

Starting Feb. 5, the mint shake will return to participating McDonald's nationwide, along with Oreo Shamrock McFlurrys, the fast-food mega-giant announced Friday. Both will be available for a limited time and while supplies last.

This comes a few weeks earlier than last year's drop for both of the seasonal treats, which was Feb. 20, 2023.

The Shamrock Shake, introduced in 1970, is made with vanilla soft-serve ice cream, artificially flavored minty green syrup and whipped topping.

The Oreo Shamrock McFlurry debuted in February 2020 in honor of the shake's 50th anniversary. It includes Oreo cookie pieces mixed in.

While it's unclear at this time which local McDonald's will be offering the treats, here's a list of some Milwaukee-area locations:
