Columbia's spring concert calendar continues to fill up with new announcements dropping regularly. From various shades of country to veteran heavy-hitters revisiting their breakout records (and one former Missourian), options abound. Here's a look at five recent show reveals that belong on your radar.

May 5: Shakey Graves at The Blue Note

Leaning lately into the more cosmic side of country, this Texas songwriter is propelled both by a new-ish record — last year's "Movie of the Week" — and a fresh duet with Jess Williamson on the single "True Love Will Find You in the End." Odie Leigh shares the bill; tickets are $34.50-$49.50.

May 8: Brent Cobb at The Blue Note

After writing tunes for and with the likes of Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert, the Georgia native's career hit full stride; the music Cobb makes under his own name digs into the soil and soul of country. Tickets are $20-$40.

May 10: Local Natives at The Blue Note

Last year's "Time Will Wait for No One" yielded some career classics for this Los Angeles band; tracks such as "Just Before the Morning" and "Desert Snow" create their own weather, enjoying the atmospherics around an accessible indie-rock sound. Uwade shares the bill; tickets are $29.50-$49.50.

May 11: Emery and The Almost at The Blue Note

Let the early-aughts rock wash over you when South Carolina-forged Emery revisits its debut, 2004's "The Weak's End," and The Almost ushers listeners through 2007's "Southern Weather," which broke the Florida band that's led by Underoath principal Aaron Gillespie. Bad Luck shares the bill; tickets are $25-$45.

June 2: Pokey LaFarge at Rose Park

A familiar face to Columbia concertgoers, and a former St. Louisan, the ever-sharp, retro-leaning troubadour will return with new album "Rhumba Country" (out May 10) in tow. Lead-off single "Sister Andre" spins like a classic soul record, with LaFarge's falsetto floating against a Motown groove. Tickets are $25.
