Shailene Woodley Posts About Healing Her 'Heart and Mind' After Aaron Rodgers Break Up

On Thursday, actress Shailene Woodley posted on Instagram about how the month of June was a major one for her “head and heart.” In April, it was reported that she and NFL star Aaron Rodgers had broken off their engagement after more than a year together.
In the caption of a softly smiling selfie, Woodley wrote, “to the month of june : putting macro whack world events aside for a minute, on a micro level, you nurtured this woman’s head + heart.”
She continued, “you gave me oxygen in the form of friends, babies, trees, magic, DANCING, animals, salt, sun, deep conversations, six packs from laughing, availability in the form of tears, PLAY, sunrises, hallway tag, goofiness, spontaneity, pita bread (so much pita!), hellos and goodbyes. a beautiful wise italian in new york told me this would be the best month ever, and he was not wrong.”
She then tagged the Italian in question, Dante Sabatino, who reads tarot and does other psychic readings.
“god i’m grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she concluded.
The former couple started getting romantic in the end of 2020, and Woodley supported him through the controversy surrounding his refusal to receive his COVID-19 vaccine and claiming to be “immunized” just the same. They've been on-and-off-again, with their first break up reported in February. Though they tried giving it another chance, things didn't work out.
“Shailene felt everything was on Aaron's terms and it wasn't making her happy,” an insider told People in April when they seemingly called things quits for good.
Another source told E! News, “Shailene tried to give it another shot and was spending time with Aaron. But she quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing was going to change...There was no reason to continue and she's done with it again.”
