In a recent interactive session with fans, Raashii Khanna, one of the lead actors in Farzi, shared an exciting update about the second season. During the conversation, she revealed, “I had a word with Raj sir, who is our director. He told me that the shooting for Farzi 2 will begin by the start of next year. So probably, Farzi 2 might arrive by the end of 2025.”
This revelation sparked a wave of excitement among fans who have been patiently waiting for any news on the upcoming season.

Shahid Kapoor also confirmed the much-awaited Farzi season 2 during an interview with Pinkvilla in October 2023. In a playful exchange with fans during the event, he responded to a fan’s question about appearing on more OTT platforms. Shahid not only confirmed Raj and DK’s series’ season 2 but also shared insights into the future of the series.
He stated, “So of course, the second season of Farzi will happen. I mean, the response was amazing. Also, the way the story ended, it was open-ended so there is an opportunity for a lot more to happen. It was not like a culmination. So Farzi 2 will happen.”
For context, the first season showed a gripping plot involving Sunny and a determined task force officer, Michael, on a mission to eradicate the country’s counterfeiting menace.
