Sexiest Man Alive Readers' Choice Poll Results 2023, From Sexiest Musician to Sexiest Ken

After thousands of votes cast for some of the sexiest men of the year, we have the definitive list of the guys PEOPLE readers swoon over

A lot of blood, sweat and tears goes into picking PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive (oh, who are we kidding, it's one of the most fun parts of the job). And while one handsome man took the cover title this year (helllloooo, Patrick Dempsey!), we knew that there are plenty of other sexy guys out there who have fans arguing for them as passionately as some of the people in the office angled for our top choice to take the top spot.

So to make sure everyone has their voice heard, we put our annual Readers' Choice Poll into the world, to get your definitive vote in categories including sexiest grandpa, sexiest athlete and sexiest Ken. And the vote was definitive: After tens of thousands of ballots were cast, we have the official readers' choice picks for the Sexiest Men Alive of 2023, below.

Sexiest TV Star: James Marsden

There were no shortage of adorable guys to spend time with on your couch this year, including (right, from top) Jeremy Allen White of The Bear, Will Sharpe of White Lotus and Quincy Isaiah of Winning Time. But it was James Marsden playing a fictional (and highly ridiculous) version of himself on Jury Duty that had you both laughing and swooning.

Sexiest Blockbuster Star: Chris Hemsworth

All of these guys took on epic battles in major movies this year, whether it was Keanu Reeves against the High Table in John Wick 4, Michael B. Jordan against his childhood-friend-turned-rival in Creed III or Cillian Murphy against his own conscience in Oppenheimer. But Extraction 2's Chris Hemsworth emerged victorious from the toughest fight: This poll category packed with dreamboats.

Sexiest Athlete: Travis Kelce

The race for sexiest athlete was tight (end), with (from top) Lewis Hamilton, Joe Burrow and Shohei Ohtani all competing at the highest level. But the Kansas City Chiefs star got a last-minute boost in votes — thanks, perhaps, to his very A-list cheering section this fall.

Sexiest Musician: Harry Styles

All of the guys in this category (including, from top, Tim McGraw, Bad Bunny and Future) are certainly sexy in their own right, and they've got the A-list love lives to prove it. But it was Harry Styles who had you hearing the sweetest music.

Sexiest Morning Show Host: Mark Consuelos

Who needs a morning cup of coffee to start the day when the Live with Kelly and Mark star (who kicked off his cohosting stint in April) is stripping down to try an onscreen cold plunge or sharing steamy details of his love life with wife Kelly Ripa? (That being said, no one can complain about waking up with any of the guys in the category, including CBS This Morning's Nate Burleson, Today's Craig Melvin and Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulous.)

Sexiest Grandpa: Pierce Brosnan

All these sexy guys (Kurt Russell, Al Roker and Michael Douglas) have been sharing heart-meltingly sweet photos of themselves in grandparent mode to their kids' new additions, but it's 2001's Sexiest Man Alive Pierce Brosnan who takes the silver crown in this category.

The grandpa of four has said “it’s such a joy to be a grandparent,” and has shared plenty of glimpses into his "special" relationship to the kids. No word on whether they prefer their bottles shaken or stirred.

Sexiest Pedro Pascal: Dog Dad Pedro

It's no secret that PEOPLE readers like every version of Pedro Pascal (including Narcos Pedro, Last of Us Pedro and Mandalorian Pedro), but it's Dog Dad Pedro, particularly when cuddling in bed with his pup Edgar, who really captured your heart.

Sexiest Funny Guy: Trevor Noah

A sense of humor is undeniably sexy, which made this category a competitive one. But Trevor Noah took the win against (from top) John Mulaney, Hasan Minhaj and Seth Meyers. (Perhaps Minka Kelly and Dua Lipa, two A-list ladies he's been linked to, were among the voting body?)

Sexiest Ken

It's "Kenough" just to be nominated — but Barbie's OG Ken, played by Ryan Gosling, beached off the competition, played by Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

Sexiest New Dad: Tom Hiddleston

Sleep deprivation looks good on these guys, all of whom welcomed their first babies this year. But it's Tom Hiddleston who dominates diaper duty, according to PEOPLE voters, who picked him over Brooks Koepka, Daniel Radcliffe and Alexander Ludwig.

Sexiest TikTok Star

Voters agree that Jalen Noble's sweet face (and impressive bod) stops FYP scrollers in their tracks. That’s why more than 1.2 million people subscribe to see his posts about his Dobermans, love Monet McMichael and shirtless day-in-the-life content — and why he took the top spot over Pottery Boy, Josh Richards and Aaron Matthews.

Sexiest Podcast Host: Taylor Lautner

It may be just their voice that you hear on the podcast, but it certainly doesn't hurt that these guys are easy on the eyes. Taylor Lautner (who hosts The Squeeze with his wife Taylor) took the top spot with poll voters, over Dax Shepherd (Armchair Expert), Nick Viall (The Viall Files) and Dom Gabriel (Dom Meets World).

Sexiest Guy You're Streaming Due to the Strike: Jensen Ackles

The SAG-AFTRA strike may have put a halt to any new shows, but you're not complaining: It gives you extra time to curl up with old episodes of Supernatural and its dreamy lead Jensen Ackles. If you get through the entire 12-season-run (again), you can spend some quality time with Criminal Minds' Shemar Moore, Gilmore Girls' Milo Ventimiglia or The Office's John Krasinski.
