Sex With Strangers Proves Difficult on ‘Married at First Sight’

On Married at First Sight, sex was on the brain as these just-married strangers experienced consummation hesitation three days into their honeymoons. Cody recognized that he and Danielle were basically strangers, while also noting that they still hadn’t had sex. Cody went on to talk the subject of sex towards an early bed death while Danielle just kind of wished he’d put the keys in the ignition. In the end, the only thing they jumped in the sack to do was sleep.

Meanwhile, Sheila and Nate had done the deed. Sheila said, “It felt right and natural. Like, I’ve never had an orgasm, and that didn’t change last night. But I’m sure it’ll be amazing when it happens.” But when the the two of them started fighting, it seemed like they might have visited Consummation Nation a little too quickly. Sheila said, “I know I got married at first sight. But getting married and consummating my marriage — this is a lot.”

Fortunately, Anthony and Ashley seemed to be hitting a nice romantic sweet spot, and Ashley asked Anthony to turn his camera off, “because we can’t document this.”

Married at First Sight airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
