'Sex Education': Otis, Eric share a laugh in Season 4 photos

Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Netflix is teasing Sex Education Season 4.

The streaming service shared first-look photos for the fourth and final season of the comedy-drama series Wednesday.

The photos feature cast members Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Mimi Keene and Gillian Anderson.

Best friends Otis (Butterfield) and Eric (Gatwa) are seen sharing a laugh, while another photo shows Otis with his mother, Jean (Anderson), and her new baby, daughter Joy.

Sex Education is created by Laurie Nunn. The series follows Otis (Butterfield), the teenage son of a renowned sex therapist (Anderson), who starts his own sex therapy clinic at school.

Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Alistair Petrie and Aimee Lou Wood also star.

Netflix shared a teaser for Season 4 in July that shows Otis struggle to convey that he is a sex therapist at a college presentation.

The new season will be the show's last.

"We are incredibly proud of Sex Education and feel indebted to our brilliant writers, cast and crew who put so much heart into making every episode. They have worked tirelessly to bring you the final series, and we can't wait to share it with you," Nunn previously said.

Sex Education Season 4 premieres Sept. 21 on Netflix.
