Severe Weather Brings Flooding to Middleburgh, New York

Properties in the town of Middleburgh, New York, suffered damage when the town was struck by flash flooding on July 12.

This video shows a torrent of flood water flowing through local woman Karen Bjorkman Fiero’s garden. Fiero told Storyful that the flooding was caused by a blockage on a nearby bridge.

“It has gotten considerably better,” Fiero told Storyful approximately 12 hours since she filmed the video. “The village is a mess. Haven’t taken a walk yet to see for myself.”
