‘Seven Seconds’: Michael Mosley & Patrick Murney Cast In Netflix Series

Michael Mosley has signed on for a regular role in the 10-episode Netflix crime drama Seven Seconds. Also cast in the series, from The Killing creator Veena Sud and Fox 21 TV Studios, is Patrick Murney (Public Morals).

Written by Sud, Seven Seconds is based on the 2013 Russian action movie The Major (Майор). Tensions run high between African American citizens and Caucasian cops in Jersey City, where a teenage African American boy is critically injured by a cop.

Mosley will play Joe “Fish” Rinaldi, a seasoned New Jersey detective assigned to work with prosecutor KJ Harper (still to be cast). Murney will portray Gary Wilcox, a cop working with Diangelo (David Lyons), Osorio (Raul Castillo) and newcomer Peter Jablonski (Beau Knapp) on the Narcotics squad in Jersey City.

Mosley starred as Johnny on USA’s Sirens, and most recently recurred on Castle, Longmire, and Elementary. He’s repped by Gersh and Dan Spilo at Industry Entertainment. Murney played Petey ‘Mac’ Mackenna on TNT’s Public Morals and also had guest roles on Person of Interest and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Murney is repped by Paradigm and Liebman Entertainment.
