Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg Producing Superhero & Illuminati Comedies For Fox & ABC

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures has set up two single-camera comedies through Sony Pictures TV, a superhero sidekick-themed project written by Mike Rosolio (Lemmings) at Fox and a project at ABC about the elusive Illuminati society that has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories, written by Brad Copeland (Life In Pieces). Both have received script commitment plus penalty and stem from Point Grey’s deal at Sony TV. Point Grey’s Rogen, Goldberg and James Weaver executive produce.

Written/executive produced by Mike Rosolio, the Fox project centers on an ambitious MIT graduate who gets a job working for a Steve Jobs-esque tech genius, only to learn he’s also a vigilante superhero by night forcing her to become the unwitting Alfred to his Batman.

The ABC project, written/executive produced by Brad Copeland, centers on a young couple struggles to balance marriage and suburban life with the fact that one of them is in the Illuminati. Copeland also developed and executive produced the MTV version of the British comedy The Inbetweeners. He is repped by UTA.

Rosolio, who is writing the feature Cold War for New Line, is repped by Kaplan/Perrone, as well as by UTA and his attorney, Lev Ginsburg.

Over the past year, Point Grey landed two pilots through Sony TV, both of which went to series, Preacher at AMC, which has been renewed for a second season, and Hulu’s upcoming Future Man. Rogen is repped by UTA and Principal Entertainment LA.
