“The Studio,” Apple TV+’s upcoming half-hour from Seth Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures and Lionsgate Television, has added seven new cast members.

Joining Rogen in the cast are Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders as series regulars, while Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Dewayne Perkins will play recurring roles.

Per the official logline, “The Studio” follows “a legacy Hollywood movie studio trying to survive in a world where it is increasingly difficult for art and commerce to live together.” The project, which is now in production, was ordered to series in November of 2022.

O’Hara (“Schitt’s Creek,” “SCTV”) is repped by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Hahn (“WandaVision,” “Transparent”) is repped by Gersh, Lighthouse Management & Media and Schreck Rose Dapello. Barinholtz (“Neighbors,” “The Mindy Project”) is repped by UTA, Artists First, and Jared Levine from Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein Kohner & Gellman. Keyla Monterroso Mejia (“Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Abbott Elementary”) is repped by UTA, MGMT Entertainment and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Dewayne Perkins (“The Upshaws,” “The Blackening”). Rogen and Evan Goldberg write and direct the series, and executive produce via Point Grey with James Weaver, Alex McAtee and Josh Fagen. The series was created by Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory alongside Rogen, Goldberg and Frida Perez . Lionsgate Television is the studio.
