Seth Meyers Shreds Trump for ‘Stealing Bits’ From ‘SNL’ Weekend Update (Video)

Seth Meyers is mad as hell, and he’s not taking it anymore.

The NBC “Late Night” host got all hot under the collar on Thursday over something Donald Trump said during a recent interview. The leader of the free world had become a little defensive while facing political criticism.

“I can’t be doing so badly because I’m President and you’re not,” Meyers read the POTUS’ line from the news transcript.

“OK, I didn’t mind when you talked dirty with Billy Bush or told Russia to hack Hillary’s emails — but when you start stealing bits from Weekend Update anchors — it is on,” Meyers said.

The former “SNL” head writer then rolled Norm MacDonald‘s “fake news” opening line, and dropped an infamous Dan Aykroyd one on the Commander-in-Chief.
