Though Seth Meyers has never thrown up from drinking alcohol, he still needs some recovery time after day drinking with his celebrity guests.

While speaking at his 2024 PaleyFest panel with Andy Samberg on Monday, April 15, the late night host, 50, admitted that he possessed an innate "superpower" that kept him from spilling his guts due to excessive drinking, but experienced "bad" hangovers the next day.

"Not great," he said of how he feels the next morning after his Late Night with Seth Meyers segment called "Seth Goes Day Drinking."

Over the years, Meyers has hosted a slew of A-list stars for that have included Rihanna, Dua Lipa, the Jonas Brothers and more.

Meyers went on to recall filming a segment with Kristen Stewart and having to film the show the very next day.

"I think the crazy thing is, like with Kristen Stewart, you’re thinking, 'Okay, we’ve got a unique opportunity to do it with someone who’s game,' but the only day she could do it was a show day," he explained. "So I had to do that and I did a show the next day. We taped, I went out and did that and taped a show the next day."

Despite not feeling at the top of his game, Meyers added, "I think I did OK."

In April 2023, the Saturday Night Live alum opened up about his 2019 day drinking romp with Rihanna and revealed that it was the "drunkest I've ever been, I think, and it was worth every second of it."

At the time, he revealed that most of his drinking was edited for time and that he drank "40 percent more" than what was shown on camera.

"I went home, immediately fell asleep in the hallway of my apartment. Got in the door, fell asleep," he told James Corden on The Late Late Show with James Corden. "My wife [Alexi Ashe] — passive-aggressively, James — put a water next to my head and went to bed."

Meyers also notes that even though he was beyond tipsy, the "We Found Love" singer kept her cool.

"Well, first of all, I should note that ... I hate to break the news here: she's younger than me. We drank the same amount and then she definitely went out," he said. "Like, she was fine. She walked out, she looked as good as she did when we started."

Speaking to PEOPLE at PaleyFest on April 15, Meyers credited his run-ins with celebrities like Rihanna and Samberg for making his show so successful.

"I will say it's amazing every night that people come and visit you and there are people you like and respect, and they show up with interesting stories and funny anecdotes and it's just a blast," he shared. "That part doesn't feel like work at all. I'm very grateful to people like Andy who's been on multiple times."
