Seth Meyers compares Trump to a toddler helping out in the kitchen

It’s been a turbulent week for President Trump, who has seen his travel ban blocked in court for a second time; his health care bill opposed by Democrats and Republicans; his wiretapping claims debunked; and his budget plan criticized for slashing funding for the EPA, NEA, and even Meals on Wheels.

Nevertheless, Trump recently boasted at a rally in Nashville that he’s accomplished “maybe more than anybody’s done in this office in 50 days.”

Among those unconvinced by Trump’s claims was Seth Meyers, who took a magnifying glass to the president’s latest stumbles during Thursday’s episode of Late Night.

“Trump has done more in office the way a toddler helps out in the kitchen,” Meyers said. “He may be trying, but by the time he leaves, there’s snot on the fridge and a shoe in the dishwasher.”

Meyers also harked back to Trump’s campaign promise that his supporters were going to “win so much” they’d “get sick and tired of winning.”

“Are you sick of winning yet?” Meyers asked sardonically. “Because if you are, you’d better get to the doctor before Trump takes away your health care.”
