Serena Williams is on vacation someplace tropical, and she’s been sharing little snippets with fans on Instagram. The latest: Serena totally whipping out modeling poses while snorkeling.

The 40-year-old tennis GOAT dropped a series of underwater pics in a new post, and they’re everything. There’s Serena showing off her toned legs while stretching out in a snakeskin print one-piece, Serena floating in the sea with her hand under her head, Serena flashing peace signs above a bunch of fish, and a final shot of just Serena’s toned legs and butt.

“When you ask how did I reach that ball… it’s underwater training :),” she joked in the caption.

People were all over it in the comments. “Stop intimidating the sharks!” one person wrote. “Legs🔥🔥🔥,” another said.

Obviously, Serena gets a lot of that jaw-dropping tone from logging hours on the tennis court. But that’s not ~all~ she does.

Last year, Serena dropped a modified yoga-inspired workout routine (that she calls a “warmup”) on Instagram. In it, Serena and her sister, fellow tennis legend Venus Williams, worked through a series of stretches and strengthening moves for 30 minutes.

“I like to call [this] a warmup, but it’s a little intense,” Serena said in the beginning. Afterward, Serena told her sister, “I’m going to go do some cardio,” because of course she did.

As for that cardio, Serena also shared a video on TikTok last July doing a weighted HIIT workout. She threw a little of everything into the mix, including interval ladder training, some abs work with a resistance band, weighted jump squats, box jumps, a series of plank variations, and more.

Serena doesn’t just work out hard, though: She eats well, too. She recently told Women's Health that she follows a plant-based diet and tries to look at food as fuel. “Eat to live. Don't live to eat,” she said."I want to have a healthy lifestyle and, so you know, [I'm eating] a lot of greens and mostly plant-based lately, just super healthy stuff.”

Serena said she’s not big on eating first thing—“When I roll out of bed, I'm just not hungry”—so lunch, which usually involves greens and protein, is often her first meal of the day.

When she has a tournament coming up, though, she’ll switch to pasta.

“The only time I eat pasta is when I'm playing or training. Usually, you'll never see me eating pasta otherwise. 'Cause I feel like I've had to eat it so much in my career. It's just like, I never want to see pasta again,” she said.

Right before a competition, she tends to stick to a certain menu. “I usually like to have lots of greens before my match and then fruit actually, and a little carbs and some sort of a protein,” she shared.

But Serena also describes her eating habits as “moody.”

“I can have a smoothie for six months, and then I'll be like, I never want to see a smoothie again for the next six months,” she said. “And then I'll be like, okay, I'm back on the smoothie. My eating is very moody.”
