Selma Blair has danced her final "Dancing with the Stars" waltz.

The actress, who announced her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2018, took the "DWTS" ballroom by storm during Season 31 with waltzes, jive dances, rumba and even a quickstep to the "Muppets" theme song before walking away from the competition Monday to focus on her health.

Blair, 50, told her partner Sasha Farber while practicing for the next dance that she'd need to step away from the competition after getting MRI's back from her doctor.

"I can't go on with the competition," Blair said through tears. "I've pushed as far as I could."

When taking the stage for the last time, Blair's fellow competitors were emotional as they watched from the mezzanine as she and Farber performed a waltz to "What the World Needs Now Is Love."

"With a chronic illness you do have special considerations and my body is definitely taking a hit," Blair, who has danced on the competition show for five weeks, said. "It's way too much for the safety of my bones, there's just intensive bone trauma and inflammation among rips and tears so I can do extensive damage that, of course, I do not want."

The "Cruel Intentions" actress said her last dance was for "everyone who has tried and hopes that they could do more, but also the power in realizing when it's time to walk away."

In "Mean Baby" she discusses how she "can’t be a spokesperson" for every person living with chronic illness, but she hopes to erase the stigma attached to MS, bring increased awareness to those living with disabilities, and help people who are coping with chronic illnesses.

"When it comes to chronic illnesses, there’s a lot of shame in disclosing one’s experiences," Blair writes. "People judge. People dispute your symptoms. People say things can’t be proven. Let me assure you, this stuff is real."
