Alex Hall is ready to put Tyler Stanaland behind her.

The reality TV star, 33, recently spoke to PEOPLE ahead of the premiere of Selling the OC’s third season. During the interview, Hall disclosed that she and Stanaland are no longer on speaking terms.

“We don't speak. I've accepted it at this point,” she says. “In the beginning, it was kind of confusing, and what's going on?”

Hall hinted that several events transpired after shooting wrapped for the third season, which helped her understand his behavior, although she didn’t specify what they were.

“There were some revelations that surfaced right after we finished filming season 3, and so it gave me a lot more clarity and understanding of why he was behaving certain ways, and I was really able to have closure, because I could wrap my head around it,” Hall explains, adding, “That's not to say that it wasn't shocking and confusing and hurtful, but it did give me clarity as to why he was behaving a certain way the entire season.”

During the reality show’s third season, the pair had rocky moments. They openly shared a kiss at the Oppenheim Group’s party celebrating the opening of its new San Diego offices but clashed one episode later over whether Stanaland's invitation to come along on a Nashville trip was genuine.

“You bailed on Nashville, so I went to Vegas,” Hall explains, adding, “I was irritated that you went to Nashville after inviting me to Nashville and then basically disinviting me to Nashville.”

“I didn’t disinvite you,” Stanaland, 34, claimed.

“You half-asked it,” she responded.

The realtor explained he didn’t want to go Nashville, recalling he told Hall she was “more than welcome to come.”

After more back-and-forth, Halls asks, “What would you have done had I not texted you, actually?”

“I mean, what would you have done had — had I not texted you, actually?” she wondered aloud. “What if I was like, ‘We’re going to Nashville. Pick me up at 5 in the morning.”

Stanaland’s response wasn’t very convincing.

“I mean, I never canceled your ticket, so... “ he adds.

“That is so strategic,” Hall shoots back.

After telling Stanaland during her family’s Shabbat she planned on going to Italy in a few weeks with another man she's dating, Hall declares the only thing holding her back from making the relationship exclusive was in fact, Stanaland.

Things come to a head in the season finale when the cast, dressed in their finest, attend the Derby Race. It’s during that outing, in which things boil over for Sean Palmieri, Austin Victoria and Stanaland, that Hall and Stanaland also have a heart-to-heart.

“I don’t want you to go to Italy, because I don’t want to lose you,” he admits.

In the final moments of the episode, Hall grabs her passport, which suggests that at the very least, she was still strongly considering moving forward with her trip to Italy.

After Selling the OC’s third season finished shooting, Stanaland announced in October 2023 he was leaving the Oppenheim Group and joining his father at Douglas Elliman as a member of the John Stanaland Group.

“My decision to leave the Oppenheim Group is about making the best decision for my clients and my career,” Tyler told PEOPLE in a statement at the time. “I’m excited about this new chapter and to be working alongside family again.

Tyler is one of three cast members to exit the Oppenheim Group since last fall, with Sean Palmieri confirming his departure in November 2023, one month after Tyler’s announcement. Alexandra Jarvis, meanwhile, told PEOPLE recently she had left the luxury real estate brokerage “several months ago.”

“There were a lot of factors that went into my decision,” Jarvis, 33, told PEOPLE, pointing to the “toxic culture” from some of her castmates as one.

“I don't really think anyone's surprised by [my departure],” she added. “I don't really know what to say about it other than I just know when it's time to leave a party.”
